Copper Futures Rise on Strong Demand
Copper futures climbed on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) due to increased spot demand. Analysts attribute the rise to higher bets by participants.
New Delhi, Feb 6 (PTI) Copper futures on Thursday rose 0.65 per cent to Rs 855.50 per kilogram on the back of higher spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for March delivery climbed Rs 5.50 or 0.65 per cent to Rs 855.50 per kg in a business turnover of 1,431 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to higher bets by participants.
