Copper futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange fell 0.19% to Rs 875.55 per kg on Friday, driven by muted demand in the domestic market and trimming of positions by speculators.
New Delhi, May 31 (PTI) Copper futures on Friday fell 0.19 per cent to Rs 875.55 per kilogram as participants cut their positions amid a muted demand in the domestic market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for June delivery eased Rs 1.65 or 0.19 per cent to Rs 875.55 per kg in a business turnover of 6,258 lots.

Analysts said trimming of positions by speculators amid a muted demand in the spot market mainly dragged down copper prices in the futures trade.
