Copper futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange fell 0.66% to Rs 876 per kg on Friday due to muted demand and position trimming by speculators.
New Delhi, Jun 7 (PTI) Copper futures on Friday fell 0.66 per cent to Rs 876 per kilogram as participants cut their positions amid a muted demand in the domestic market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for June delivery eased Rs 5.80 or 0.66 per cent to Rs 876 per kg in a business turnover of 6,032 lots.

Analysts said trimming of positions by speculators amid a muted demand in the spot market mainly dragged down copper prices in the futures trade.
