Copper Futures Slip on Weak Demand - PTI

Copper futures fell on the Multi Commodity Exchange due to muted demand in the domestic market. Speculators trimmed positions, leading to a decline in prices.
New Delhi, Dec 28 (PTI) Copper futures on Thursday fell Rs 4.25 to Rs 735.05 per kilogram as participants cut their positions amid a muted demand in the domestic market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for January delivery eased by Rs 4.25 or 0.57 per cent to Rs 735.05 per kg in a business turnover of 5,141 lots.
Analysts said trimming of positions by speculators amid a muted demand in the spot market mainly dragged down copper prices in the futures trade.
