Copper Futures Surge on Higher Demand - PTI

Copper futures prices rose 0.38% to Rs 708.55 per kg on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) due to increased spot demand. Analysts cite rising bets by participants as a contributing factor.
New Delhi, Feb 15 (PTI) Copper prices on Thursday rose 0.38 per cent to Rs 708.55 per kilogram in the futures market on the back of higher spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for delivery in February traded higher Rs 2.65 or 0.38 per cent at Rs 708.55 per kg in a business turnover of 4,893 lots.

Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
