Copper Futures Surge on Higher Spot Demand

Copper futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange rose 1.23% to Rs 853.20 per kg due to increased spot demand and bullish bets.
New Delhi, Oct 21 (PTI) Copper futures on Monday rose 1.23 per cent to Rs 853.20 per kilogram on the back of higher spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for November delivery increased by Rs 10.40 or 1.23 per cent to Rs 853.20 per kg in a business turnover of 5,044 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
