Copper Futures Surge on Strong Demand | PTI

Copper futures prices in India rose 1.18% on Monday, driven by increased spot demand. Analysts attribute the rise to bullish bets by market participants.
New Delhi, May 6 (PTI) Copper prices on Monday rose 1.18 per cent to Rs 865.35 per kilogram in the futures market on the back of higher spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for delivery in May traded higher Rs 10.05 or 1.18 per cent at Rs 865.35 per kg in a business turnover of 6,714 lots.

Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
