Coriander Futures Decline on Weak Demand

Coriander prices dropped in futures trading on July 19 due to weak demand in the spot market. Speculators reduced positions, leading to a decline of Rs 54 per quintal.
New Delhi, Jul 19 (PTI) Coriander prices on Friday eased Rs 54 to Rs 7,244 per quintal in futures trade as speculators reduced their positions amid a weak demand in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, coriander contracts for the July delivery declined Rs 54 or 0.75 per cent to Rs 7,244 per quintal in 30,845 lots.
Market analysts said subdued demand in the spot market mainly led to the decline in coriander prices here.
