Coriander Futures Decline on Weak Demand

Coriander prices fell on Thursday due to weak demand in the spot market, with speculators reducing their positions. The January contract on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange declined by Rs 58 to Rs 7,980 per quintal.
New Delhi, Jan 2 (PTI) Coriander prices on Thursday eased Rs 58 to Rs 7,980 per quintal in futures trade as speculators reduced their positions amid weak demand in the spot market.


On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, coriander contracts for January delivery declined Rs 58 or 0.73 per cent to Rs 7,980 per quintal in 16,200 lots.

Market analysts said subdued demand in the spot market mainly led to the decline in coriander prices here.
