Coriander Futures Decline on Weak Demand
Coriander futures prices fell on Tuesday due to reduced demand in the spot market. Speculators also reduced their positions, contributing to the decline.
New Delhi, Jan 14 (PTI) Coriander prices on Tuesday eased Rs 98 to Rs 7,638 per quintal in futures trade as speculators reduced their positions amid weak demand in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, coriander contracts for January delivery declined Rs 98 or 1.28 per cent to Rs 7,638 per quintal in 7,005 lots.
Market analysts said subdued demand in the spot market mainly led to the decline in coriander prices here.
