Coriander Futures Decline on Weak Demand

Coriander futures prices fell on Tuesday due to weak demand in the spot market, with speculators reducing their positions. The decline was driven by subdued demand in the physical market.
New Delhi, Apr 22 (PTI) Coriander prices on Tuesday eased Rs 42 to Rs 7,612 per quintal in futures trade as speculators reduced their positions amid weak demand in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, coriander contracts for May delivery declined Rs 42 or 0.55 per cent to Rs 7,612 per quintal in 23,125 lots.
Market analysts said subdued demand in the spot market mainly led to the decline in coriander prices here.
