Coriander Futures Decline on Weak Demand

Coriander futures prices fell on Friday due to weak demand in the spot market. Speculators reduced their positions, leading to a decline of Rs 44 per quintal.
New Delhi, May 23 (PTI) Coriander prices on Friday eased Rs 44 to Rs 7,058 per quintal in futures trade as speculators reduced their positions amid weak demand in the spot market.


On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, coriander contracts for June delivery declined by Rs 44 or 0.62 per cent to Rs 7,058 per quintal in 18,590 lots.

Market analysts said subdued demand in the spot market mainly led to the decline in coriander prices here.
