Coriander Futures Surge on High Demand - PTI
Coriander futures prices rose on Thursday due to increased demand and tight supplies, according to PTI. The April contract climbed Rs 22 to Rs 8,128 per quintal.
New Delhi, Feb 27 (PTI) Coriander prices on Thursday increased by Rs 22 to Rs 8,128 per quintal in futures trade as speculators increased their holdings, tracking a firm trend in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, coriander contracts for April delivery climbed Rs 22 or 0.27 per cent to Rs 8,128 per quintal in 21,170 lots.
A firm trend in the spot market and restricted supplies from producing regions pushed up coriander prices, market analysts said.
