Coriander Futures Surge on Higher Demand

Coriander futures prices rose on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX) due to increased demand and tight supplies.
New Delhi, May 21 (PTI) Coriander prices on Tuesday rose Rs 80 to Rs 7,454 per quintal in futures trade as speculators increased their holdings, tracking a firm trend in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, coriander contracts for June delivery traded higher by Rs 80 or 1.07 per cent at Rs 7,454 per quintal with an open interest of 27,465 lots.
A firm trend in the spot market and restricted supplies from producing regions pushed up coriander prices, market analysts said.
