Coriander futures prices climbed on Tuesday due to increased demand and tight supplies, fueled by a robust trend in the spot market.
New Delhi, Jan 9 (PTI) Coriander prices on Tuesday rose Rs 50 to Rs 6,970 per quintal in futures trade as speculators increased their holdings, tracking a firm trend in the spot market.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, coriander contracts for January delivery traded higher by Rs 50, or 0.72 per cent, at Rs 6,970 per quintal with an open interest of 10,915 lots.

A firm trend in the spot market and restricted supplies from producing regions pushed up coriander prices, market analysts said.
