Cottonseed oil cake futures prices rise on fresh bets amid higher demand. December delivery up at Rs 2,879 per quintal.
New Delhi, Nov 24 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Monday rose Rs 21 to Rs 2,879 per quintal in futures trade as speculators created fresh positions amid higher demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for December delivery traded higher by Rs 21 or 0.73 per cent at Rs 2,879 per quintal with an open interest of 19,140 lots.
Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants amid increasing demand for cattle feed mainly influenced cottonseed oil cake prices.
