Cottonseed oil cake futures prices rise on fresh bets amid higher demand. December delivery up at Rs 2,922 per quintal.
New Delhi, Nov 25 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Tuesday rose by Rs 12 to Rs 2,922 per quintal in futures trade as speculators created fresh positions amid higher demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for December delivery traded higher by Rs 12 or 0.41 per cent at Rs 2,922 per quintal with an open interest of 18,500 lots.
Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants amid increasing demand for cattle feed influenced cottonseed oil cake prices.
