Cottonseed oil cake futures prices rise on fresh bets amid higher demand. January delivery trades higher. Widening positions influence prices.
New Delhi, Dec 11 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Thursday rose Rs 7 to Rs 2,971 per quintal in futures trade as speculators created fresh positions amid higher demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for January delivery traded higher by Rs 7 or 0.24 per cent at Rs 2,971 per quintal with an open interest of 20,230 lots.
Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants amid increasing demand for cattle feed mainly influenced cottonseed oil cake prices.
