Cottonseed Oil Cake Futures Rise on Demand

Cottonseed oil cake futures prices rose on Tuesday due to increased demand for cattle feed and fresh bets by speculators. Learn more about the commodity market.
New Delhi, Jun 25 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Tuesday rose Rs 14 to Rs 2,846 per quintal in futures trade as speculators created fresh positions amid a higher demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for July delivery traded higher by Rs 14, or 0.49 per cent, at Rs 2,846 per quintal with an open interest of 61,050 lots.
Marketmen said the raising of positions by participants amid increasing demand for cattle feed mainly influenced cottonseed oil cake prices.
