Cottonseed Oil Cake Futures Rise on Demand

Cottonseed oil cake futures rose on Friday due to increased demand for cattle feed, leading to fresh bets by speculators. Prices closed at Rs 2,940 per quintal.
New Delhi, Jul 12 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Friday rose Rs 20 to Rs 2,940 per quintal in futures trade as speculators created fresh positions amid a higher demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for July delivery traded higher by Rs 20 or 0.68 per cent at Rs 2,940 per quintal with an open interest of 9,150 lots.
Marketmen said the raising of positions by participants amid increasing demand for cattle feed mainly influenced cottonseed oil cake prices.
