Cottonseed Oil Cake Futures Rise on Demand

Cottonseed oil cake futures rose on Monday due to increased demand for cattle feed, leading to higher prices and increased trading activity on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange.
New Delhi, Oct 7 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Monday rose by Rs 4 to Rs 2,932 per quintal in futures trade, as speculators created fresh positions amid a higher demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for December delivery traded higher by Rs 4 or 0.14 per cent at Rs 2,932 per quintal with an open interest of 19,530 lots.
Marketmen said the raising of positions by participants amid increasing demand for cattle feed mainly influenced cottonseed oil cake prices.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for December delivery traded higher by Rs 4 or 0.14 per cent at Rs 2,932 per quintal with an open interest of 19,530 lots.
