Cottonseed Oil Cake Futures Rise on Demand

Cottonseed oil cake futures surged on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange due to rising demand for cattle feed and increased speculation.
New Delhi, Oct 11 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Thursday increased Rs 41 to Rs 2,918 per quintal in futures trade as speculators created fresh positions amid a higher demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for December delivery traded higher by Rs 41 or 1.41 per cent at Rs 2,918 per quintal with an open interest of 19,150 lots.
Marketmen said the raising of positions by participants amid increasing demand for cattle feed mainly influenced cottonseed oil cake prices.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for December delivery traded higher by Rs 41 or 1.41 per cent at Rs 2,918 per quintal with an open interest of 19,150 lots.
