Cottonseed oil cake futures prices rose on Tuesday due to increased demand for cattle feed, prompting speculators to create fresh positions.
New Delhi, Nov 28 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Tuesday rose by Rs 16 to Rs 2,969 per quintal in futures trade as speculators created fresh positions amid higher demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for December delivery traded higher by Rs 16 or 0.54 per cent at Rs 2,969 per quintal with an open interest of 43,720 lots.
Marketmen said participants created new positions amid increasing demand for cattle feed that mainly influenced cottonseed oil cake prices.
