Cottonseed Oil Cake Futures Rise on Demand

Cottonseed oil cake futures prices rose in India due to increased demand for cattle feed, with speculators creating fresh positions on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange.
New Delhi, Dec 5 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Thursday rose Rs 12 to Rs 2,690 per quintal in futures trade as speculators created fresh positions amid a higher demand.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for December delivery traded higher by Rs 12 or 0.45 per cent at Rs 2,690 per quintal with an open interest of 16,650 lots.

Marketmen said the raising of positions by participants amid increasing demand for cattle feed mainly influenced cottonseed oil cake prices.
