Cottonseed oil cake futures prices rise on fresh bets amid higher demand. December delivery up at Rs 2,914 per quintal.
New Delhi, Sep 17 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Wednesday rose by Rs 2 to Rs 2,914 per quintal in futures trade as speculators created fresh positions amid higher demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for December delivery traded higher Rs 2 or 0.07 per cent at Rs 2,914 per quintal with an open interest of 12,560 lots.
Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants amid increasing demand for cattle feed mainly influenced cottonseed oil cake prices.
