Cottonseed Oil Cake Futures Rise on Demand

Cottonseed oil cake futures prices rise on fresh bets amid higher demand. December delivery up 0.14% at Rs 2,939 per quintal.
New Delhi, Oct 1 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Wednesday rose Rs 4 to Rs 2,939 per quintal in futures trade as speculators created fresh positions amid higher demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for December delivery traded higher Rs 4 or 0.14 per cent at Rs 2,939 per quintal with an open interest of 14,610 lots.
Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants amid increasing demand for cattle feed mainly influenced cottonseed oil cake prices.
