Cottonseed Oil Cake Futures Rise on Demand

Cottonseed oil cake futures climb on fresh bets and rising demand. December delivery up Rs 12 at Rs 2,932 per quintal.
New Delhi, Oct 6 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Monday rose Rs 12 to Rs 2,932 per quintal in futures trade as speculators created fresh positions amid higher demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for December delivery traded higher Rs 12 or 0.41 per cent at Rs 2,932 per quintal with an open interest of 16,870 lots.
Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants amid increasing demand for cattle feed mainly influenced cottonseed oil cake prices.
