Cottonseed Oil Cake Futures Rise on Demand

Cottonseed oil cake futures prices rose on Wednesday due to increased demand for cattle feed. Speculators created fresh positions, driving prices up to Rs 2,610 per quintal.
New Delhi, Feb 21 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Wednesday rose Rs 4 to Rs 2,610 per quintal in futures trade as speculators created fresh positions amid a higher demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for March delivery traded higher Rs 4, or 0.15 per cent, at Rs 2,610 per quintal with an open interest of 71,270 lots.
Marketmen said the raising of positions by participants amid increasing demand for cattle feed mainly influenced cottonseed oil cake prices.
