Cottonseed Oil Cake Futures Rise on Demand

Cottonseed oil cake futures surged on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange due to increased demand for cattle feed, driving prices to Rs 2,565 per quintal.
New Delhi, Apr 16 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Tuesday rose Rs 6 to Rs 2,565 per quintal in futures trade as speculators created fresh positions amid a higher demand.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for April delivery traded higher Rs 6 or 0.23 per cent at Rs 2,565 per quintal with an open interest of 2,980 lots.

Marketmen said the raising of positions by participants amid increasing demand for cattle feed mainly influenced cottonseed oil cake prices.
