Cottonseed Oil Cake Futures Rise on Higher Demand

Cottonseed oil cake futures prices rose on Wednesday due to increased demand for cattle feed. Speculators created fresh positions, driving up prices on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange.
New Delhi, Dec 20 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Wednesday rose Rs 3 to Rs 2,734 per quintal in futures trade as speculators created fresh positions amid a higher demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for December delivery traded higher by Rs 3 or 0.11 per cent at Rs 2,734 per quintal with an open interest of 3,290 lots.
Marketmen said the raising of positions by participants amid increasing demand for cattle feed mainly influenced cottonseed oil cake prices.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for December delivery traded higher by Rs 3 or 0.11 per cent at Rs 2,734 per quintal with an open interest of 3,290 lots.
