Cottonseed oil cake futures prices rise on fresh bets amid higher demand. January delivery up at Rs 2,865 per quintal.
New Delhi, Dec 3 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Wednesday rose Rs 9 to Rs 2,865 per quintal in futures trade as speculators created fresh positions amid higher demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for January delivery traded higher by Rs 9 or 0.31 per cent at Rs 2,865 per quintal with an open interest of 13,710 lots.
Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants amid increasing demand for cattle feed mainly influenced cottonseed oil cake prices.
