Cottonseed Oil Cake Futures Slip on Weak Demand

Cottonseed oil cake futures fell on soft demand. Participants reduced bets amid weak spot market trends. January delivery details inside.
New Delhi, Dec 15 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Monday fell Rs 6 to Rs 2,971 per quintal in futures trade as participants reduced their bets following weak trends in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for January delivery traded lower by Rs 6 or 0.20 per cent at Rs 2,971 per quintal with an open interest of 22,500 lots.
Analysts said a sell-off by participants at existing levels amid a subdued trend in the market mainly weighed on cottonseed oil cake prices.
