Cottonseed Oil Cake Futures Surge on Demand

Cottonseed oil cake futures rose on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange due to increased demand for cattle feed and fresh speculative positions.
New Delhi, Jan 28 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Tuesday rose Rs 11 to Rs 2,686 per quintal in futures trade as speculators created fresh positions amid higher demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for February delivery traded higher by Rs 11 or 0.41 per cent at Rs 2,686 per quintal with an open interest of 43,900 lots.
Marketmen said the raising of positions by participants amid increasing demand for cattle feed mainly influenced cottonseed oil cake prices.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for February delivery traded higher by Rs 11 or 0.41 per cent at Rs 2,686 per quintal with an open interest of 43,900 lots.
