Cottonseed oil cake futures prices rose in India on Monday, driven by increased demand for cattle feed and fresh bets from speculators.
New Delhi, May 13 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Monday rose Rs 43 to Rs 2,572 per quintal in futures trade as speculators created fresh positions amid a higher demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for May delivery traded higher Rs 43 or 1.67 per cent at Rs 2,572 per quintal with an open interest of 7,670 lots.
Marketmen said the raising of positions by participants amid increasing demand for cattle feed mainly influenced cottonseed oil cake prices.
