Cottonseed Oil Cake Futures Surge on Higher Demand

Cottonseed oil cake prices rose in futures trade on Thursday, driven by increased demand for cattle feed and speculative buying.
New Delhi, Nov 2 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Thursday rose by Rs 12 to Rs 2,942 per quintal in futures trade as speculators created fresh positions amid higher demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for December delivery traded higher by Rs 12 or 0.44 per cent at Rs 2,942 per quintal with an open interest of 46,600 lots.
Marketmen said the raising of positions by participants amid increasing demand for cattle feed mainly influenced cottonseed oil cake prices.
