Cottonseed Oil Futures Decline on Soft Demand - PTI
Cottonseed oil cake prices fell Rs 32 to Rs 2,630 per quintal on Thursday due to weak demand in spot markets. Analysts attribute the decline to selling pressure by participants.
New Delhi, Apr 4 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Thursday decreased Rs 32 to Rs 2,630 per quintal in futures trade as participants reduced their bets following weak trends in spot markets.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for April delivery fell Rs 32 or 1.22 per cent to Rs 2,630 per quintal with an open interest of 49,720 lots.
Analysts said a sell-off by participants at existing levels amid a subdued trend in the market mainly weighed on cottonseed oil cake prices.
