Cottonseed Oil Futures Decline on Weak Demand
Cottonseed oil cake futures fell on Friday, dropping Rs 2 to Rs 2,736 per quintal due to weak demand in the spot market.
New Delhi, Mar 21 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices fell by Rs 2 to Rs 2,736 per quintal in futures trade on Friday, as participants reduced their bets following weak trends in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for April delivery traded lower by Rs 2 or 0.07 per cent at Rs 2,736 per quintal with an open interest of 74,410 lots.
Analysts said a sell-off by participants at existing levels amid a subdued trend in the market mainly weighed on cottonseed oil cake prices.
