Cottonseed Oil Futures Decline: Soft Demand Impacts Prices

Cottonseed oil futures slip on weak demand. September delivery down on NCDEX. Analysts cite sell-off amid subdued market trends.
New Delhi, Aug 14 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Thursday slipped Rs 2 to Rs 3,333 per quintal in futures trade as participants reduced their bets following weak trends in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for September delivery traded lower by Rs 2 or 0.06 per cent at Rs 3,333 per quintal with an open interest of 24,740 lots.
Analysts said a sell-off by participants at existing levels amid a subdued trend in the market mainly weighed on cottonseed oil cake prices.
