Crude Oil Futures Decline on Low Demand - PTI

Crude oil futures fell 1.29% to Rs 5,875 per barrel on Monday due to low demand. West Texas Intermediate crude and Brent crude also saw declines in global markets.

New Delhi, Dec 18 (PTI) Crude oil futures on Monday declined 1.29 per cent to Rs 5,875 per barrel as participants trimmed their positions on low demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for December delivery fell Rs 77 or 1.29 per cent to Rs 5,875 per barrel with a business volume of 5,914 lots.

Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil traded 0.66 per cent lower at USD 70.96 per barrel, while Brent crude was trading down 0.54 per cent at USD 76.14 per barrel in New York.
