Crude Oil Futures Decline on Low Demand - PTI

Crude oil futures declined on Monday due to low demand. On the MCX, crude oil for May delivery fell by 0.74% to Rs 6,947 per barrel. Globally, WTI and Brent crude also traded lower.

New Delhi, Apr 29 (PTI) Crude oil futures on Monday declined 0.74 per cent to Rs 6,947 per barrel as participants trimmed their positions on low demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for May delivery fell Rs 52 or 0.74 per cent to Rs 6,947 per barrel with a business volume of 5,221 lots.

Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil traded 0.94 per cent lower at USD 83.06 per barrel, while Brent crude was trading 1.18 per cent lower at USD 88.44 per barrel in New York.
