Crude Oil Futures Decline on Low Demand

Crude oil futures fell 0.29% on Monday to Rs 6,128 per barrel on the Multi Commodity Exchange, driven by weak demand. Global benchmarks WTI and Brent crude also declined.
New Delhi, Aug 5 (PTI) Crude oil futures on Monday declined 0.29 per cent to Rs 6,128 per barrel as participants trimmed their positions on low demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for August delivery fell Rs 18 or 0.29 per cent to Rs 6,128 per barrel with a business volume of 15,337 lots.
Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil traded 0.76 per cent lower at USD 72.96 per barrel, while Brent crude was trading 0.64 per cent down at USD 76.14 per barrel in New York.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for August delivery fell Rs 18 or 0.29 per cent to Rs 6,128 per barrel with a business volume of 15,337 lots.
