Crude Oil Futures Decline on Low Demand

Crude oil futures fell 0.81% to Rs 6,878 per barrel on Thursday due to low demand. Global oil prices also declined, with WTI trading at USD 82.22 per barrel and Brent at USD 86.82 per barrel.

New Delhi, Apr 18 (PTI) Crude oil futures on Thursday declined 0.81 per cent to Rs 6,878 per barrel as participants trimmed their positions on low demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for April delivery fell Rs 56 or 0.81 per cent to Rs 6,878 per barrel with a business volume of 2,558 lots.

Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil traded 0.68 per cent lower at USD 82.22 per barrel, while Brent crude was trading 0.54 per cent lower at USD 86.82 per barrel in New York.
