Crude Oil Futures Fall on Weak Global Demand

Crude oil futures declined on the MCX Wednesday, tracking weak global demand. West Texas Intermediate crude fell 0.26% to USD 68.08 per barrel, while Brent crude was up 0.11% to USD 71.12 per barrel.
Crude Oil Futures Fall on Weak Global Demand
New Delhi, Mar 5 (PTI) Crude oil futures on Wednesday fell Rs 16 to Rs 5,929 per barrel in futures trade as participants trimmed their positions tracking weak demand in the overseas market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for April delivery traded lower by Rs 16 or 0.27 per cent at Rs 5,929 per barrel in 917 lots.

Analysts said the prices were affected following participants offloading their holdings amid weak global cues.

Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude declined 0.26 per cent to USD 68.08 per barrel, while Brent crude was trading 0.11 per cent higher at USD 71.12 per barrel in New York.
