GeM Signs MoU with Sikkim for Public Procurement
GeM has signed an MoU with Sikkim to increase the adoption of the public procurement portal, covering all states and UTs in India.

New Delhi, Oct 24 (PTI) The commerce ministry on Thursday said the Government e Marketplace (GeM) has inked a Memorandum of Understanding with Sikkim for increasing adoption of the public procurement portal.
"With this MoU, GeM has achieved the coverage of all the States and UTs of India," it said.
The MoU aimed at working towards increasing the adoption of GeM amongst the Government of Sikkim buyer departments for public procurement of goods and services. There are 3,078 Sikkim-based sellers currently onboarded on the GeM portal. Of these, 2720 are registered as micro sellers.
