Gold Futures Decline Amid Weak Global Demand

Gold prices fell in India's futures market on Tuesday, driven by weak global cues. Gold contracts for December delivery traded lower by Rs 369, or 0.49 per cent, to Rs 75,676 per 10 grams.

New Delhi, Oct 8 (PTI) Gold prices on Tuesday declined Rs 369 to Rs 75,676 per 10 grams in futures trade amid weak global cues.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold contracts for December delivery traded lower Rs 369 or 0.49 per cent to Rs 75,676 per 10 grams in a business turnover of 1,800 lots.

Analysts attributed the fall in gold prices to weak global cues.

Globally, gold futures decreased 0.32 per cent to USD 2,634.11 per ounce in New York.
