Gold Futures Decline on Weak Demand - PTI

Gold prices fell in India due to reduced speculative positions and weak global cues, with futures contracts for June delivery trading lower at Rs 73,909 per 10 grams on the MCX.
New Delhi, May 21 (PTI) Gold price on Tuesday declined Rs 458 to Rs 73,909 per 10 grams in futures trade as speculators reduced their positions.
On the MCX, gold contracts for June delivery traded lower Rs 458 at Rs 73,909 per 10 grams in a business turnover of 10,048 lots.
Analysts attributed the fall in the precious metal price to weak global cues.
Globally, gold was trading 0.66 per cent lower at USD 2,422.30 per ounce in New York.
On the MCX, gold contracts for June delivery traded lower Rs 458 at Rs 73,909 per 10 grams in a business turnover of 10,048 lots.
