Gold Futures Decline: Rs 73 Fall to Rs 79,491/10g
Gold prices fell by Rs 73 to Rs 79,491 per 10 grams in futures trade on Thursday due to weak global cues and muted spot demand. Global gold futures decreased by 0.12% in New York.

New Delhi, Jan 23 (PTI) Gold prices on Thursday fell Rs 73 to Rs 79,491 per 10 grams in futures trade amid muted in spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold contracts for February delivery traded lower Rs 73 or 0.09 per cent at Rs 79,491 per 10 grams in a business turnover of 8,582 lots.
Analysts attributed the fall in gold prices to weak global cues.
Globally, gold futures decreased by 0.12 per cent to USD 2,753.29 per ounce in New York.
