Gold Futures Fall on Weak Demand - PTI

Gold prices declined on Friday, falling Rs 79 to Rs 69,625 per 10 grams in futures trade amid weak global cues. Analysts attributed the fall to weak global cues.

New Delhi, Aug 9 (PTI) Gold prices on Friday declined Rs 79 to Rs 69,625 per 10 grams in futures trade amid weak global cues.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold contracts for October delivery traded lower by Rs 79 or 0.11 per cent to Rs 69,625 per 10 grams in a business turnover of 17,588 lots.

Analysts attributed the fall in gold prices to weak global cues.

Globally, gold prices went down by 0.13 per cent to USD 2,460.10 per ounce in New York.
