Guar Gum Futures Decline on Weak Demand - PTI

Guar gum futures prices fell on Monday due to low demand and ample supplies in the spot market. Traders offloaded holdings, impacting prices on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange.
New Delhi, Jul 15 (PTI) Guar gum prices on Monday dropped Rs 71 to Rs 10,609 per five quintals in the futures market as traders offloaded their holdings in line with a weak trend in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum for July delivery fell Rs 71 or 0.67 per cent to Rs 10,609 per five quintals in 4,755 lots.
Marketmen said slackness in demand in the spot market and ample supplies from growing regions put pressure on guar gum prices.
