Guar Gum Futures Drop on Low Demand - PTI

Guar gum futures prices fell on Tuesday due to weak demand and ample supply in the spot market. Traders offloaded holdings, causing prices to drop by Rs 87 per five quintals.
New Delhi, Dec 26 (PTI) Guar gum prices on Tuesday dropped Rs 87 to Rs 11,052 per five quintals in the futures market as traders offloaded their holdings in line with a weak trend in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum for January delivery fell Rs 87 or 0.79 per cent to Rs 11,052 per five quintals in 45,560 lots.
Marketmen said slackness in demand in the spot market and ample supplies from growing regions put pressure on guar gum prices.
